Ann Sprague brings over 30 years of business, advertising, brand development, marketing and creative experience to the mix. She has been instrumental in the creative development for many projects, managing hundreds of branding, advertising and marketing jobs. A great deal of her time is also spent writing for clients.
She has been involved in the creative development of themed entertainment attractions, providing creative input for scriptwriting, video direction, photo shoot supervision, character and merchandise development.
Prior to forming Canyon with Dale Sprague in 1996, Ann was a successful, full-time freelance writer, editor and book producer. She wrote Disney’s Gardening with Mickey for the adult market, and personally captured many of its beautiful photographs. She also wrote Picture Me at Walt Disney World and Picture Me at Disneyland for young children. She wrote many articles for the official Disneyana magazine, as well as edited it for several years, and has written Disney books, catalogs, brochures, and worked on other retail merchandise, advertising and marketing projects. For more than six years, she worked for Harcourt Brace Jovanovich Publishers as the International Advertising and Book Production Manager and was the Managing Editor for a medical-legal publisher for nearly three years.
She is a member and former Communications Committee Chair of the Themed Entertainment Association; was the Literary Co-Chair of the 2016 Vegas Valley Book Festival; sits on the board of Nevada Children’s Medical Center Foundation and is on the board of Olive Crest, which focuses on the prevention of child abuse.
Ann Sprague received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, with minors in Advertising, Television and Publishing.
