Project Imagine

Project Imagine is an Arts in Medicine program dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for hospitalized children by encouraging creative expression. They inspire art, music, dance, theater and literary exploration, with the knowledge that these actions can aid in treatment success, reduce anxiety and bring comfort to pediatric patients, their families and caregivers.

Based in Las Vegas, Nevada, Project Imagine is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that deals with children who are undergoing extensive treatments while hospitalized. Sadly, feelings of pain, anxiety and isolation often accompany prolonged illness. By providing one-on-one and group art and music enrichment sessions, Project Imagine seeks to create an experience allowing pediatric patients a chance to step outside the circumstances and explore their creativity.

Research shows that patients participating in Arts in Medicine programs require shorter hospital stays, less medication and have fewer complications, all of which reduce health care costs. Studies also have proven that integrating arts into the clinical setting improves the quality of care for patients, translating to an atmosphere that promotes greater healing and workplace satisfaction.

  • We were asked to create a logo, website, business cards, letterhead, envelopes, banners, eblast invitations, donation materials, flyers, T-shirts, signage and postcards to help Project Imagine with their mission. We envisioned happy, playful colors for the logo, along with a contemporary font. The focus is on the word “Imagine” because it really is all about the children using their imaginations during the sessions. The circles or balloons reinforce the notion that you can dream anything you want. The whole vision is used throughout every touch point created to support the brand.
