SH Architecture, a Las Vegas architectural firm, is already well established, but was ready for a fresh take on their branding and image. We focused on how architecture touches us in so many ways – the emotional aspects of where we live, work and play vs. “just showing buildings.”
We chose a natural color palette to reflect the company’s commitment to sustainable design and an overall design strategy that reinforces simplicity and clarity. Playing off the company’s name, we created an advertising campaign that utilizes single “SH” words and imagery of people experiencing life or interacting with the types of spaces they build. We also created the website, eblast designs, a variable project quoting document, note cards, corporate brochure, and CD/DVD sleeve.
The printed holiday card is another extension of their devotion to sustainable design. It’s printed on recycled paper and features a button with a tree symbol. This symbol is now a universal mark representing their allegiance to sustainable design and is used throughout their printed and digital materials.
An electronic holiday card featured the SH staff (photographed, recorded and transformed into digital characters) singing an environmentally conscious version of “The Twelve Days of Christmas.” Within an hour of sending the ecard to a list of 500, there were over 8,000 hits.
